SRINAGAR: A Kashmir woman who was reported missing after Thursdays stampede in Mina during Hajj has been confirmed dead.
Mukhta Banu, wife of Muhammad Ayub Shah of Tral Bala has been laid to rest at Mazaar-I-Shariya in holy city, family said.
Banu, who was travelling with Hajj cover number JKR-254-5-0, was last seen while being ferried away in an ambulance from the site of the stampede that has claimed more than 1000 lives.
She was missing since the stampede. Her husband identified her, said her family.
