SRINAGAR: With rainfall triggering landslides at number of places on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway on Wednesday, the traffic on the 300-km stretch has been suspended leaving stranded near about 350 vehicles.
The highway authorities have informed that the highway was closed for traffic after heavy rains triggered landslides at Gangroo, Panthal and Seri areas.
To clear the highway for vehicular movement, the authorities have pressed men and machineries into service and are hopeful to clear the roadblock by the end of the day.
