SRINAGAR: Armys Chinar Corps Tuesday conducted a series of commemorative events to mark the end of the 1965 Indo-Pak war here at Badamai Bagh Cantonment.
Many war veterans who had actually participated in the war adorned the event by their presence. Notable amongst them was Lt Gen MA Zaki who was the Chinar Corps Commander 25 years ago and later Security Advisor to J&K Govt.
Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Satish Dua while speaking to the media on the sidelines of the seminar conveyed his greetings to the entire Awaam of Kashmir on assuming the responsibility of the Chinar Corps.
