SRINAGAR:A 19-year-old girl Zareena Bano succumbed to her injuries Sunday after a black bear mauled her in the forests of Batanar area in Lolab, Kupwara.
Bano, daughter of Ghulam Mohd Khatana from Batanar was grazing her cattle when the beast emerged from the woods and lunged towards her.
She received profound injuries on her neck and temple area, officials said.
