ICS Yellow inflict humiliating defeat on ICS Reds
SRINAGAR: In the inaugural match of the inter-group cricket tournament played between the ICS Reds and ICS Yellows, the latter won the toss and elected to bat first setting a target of 183 runs.
In reply, the ICS Reds could only manage only 120 runs.
For ICS Yellows, Arif Ahmad Sheikh contributed 39 runs in 52 deliveries while Dawood Zargar 36 runs in 46 deliveries. Mohsin took 3 wickets and Raqib 2 for ICS Reds.
ICS reds could manage a paltry score of 120 runs. Owais could score 27 runs in 39 deliveries and captain Raqib 18 in 28 deliveries. For ICS Yellows, Faizan Rasool took 4 wickets and Captain Dawood Zargar with 2 wickets,
ICS Yellows booked their place in the next round of the tournament by defeating ICS Reds with a huge margin of 63, which will be now played on 10th of September against ICS Greens.
The second match of the tournament will now be played between the ICS Oranges and ICS Blues on 09-09-2015(Wednesday) at 10:00 AM.
