Srinagar: An accused who was absconding from last 10 years was nabbed by police Mendhar Tehsil of Poonch district.
The absconder Mehmood Ahmad son of Ghulam Rafiq, residence of Bonali in Mendhar was wanted in a case under FIR 61 under sections 323, 324, 325 RPC. The accused was absconding from 2005.
To nab the absconder, a police team led by SDPO Mendhar Shahid Nayeem and SHO Mendhar Anzar Mir under the close supervision of SSP Poonch Mr Johar was constituted and they managed to nab the absconder from his village, an official told GNS on Tuesday. (GNS)
