SHOPIAN: The district administration Friday razed 64 illegal structures including 15 shopping complexes to ground in South Kashmirs Shopian district.
All these structures had come up in brazen violation of Court orders near Rambi Nallah of the district, tehsildar Shakeel Ahmed Ganaie said. After seeking help from police and civil administration, we demolished the structures including 12 plinths, 16 houses, 15 shopping complexes and 21 sheds.
Ganaie urged the Irrigation and Flood Control, Forest Department and local revenue officials to join hands in the demolition drive so that ill designs of violators and offenders could be foiled beforehand.
