Cabinet to meet on Monday
SRINAGAR: The State cabinet is meeting here on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Syeed to finalise the appointment of new Chief Secretary.
According to the Hajj and Auqaff Minister Abdul Reheman Veeri, the cabinet is meeting on Monday to discuss some important issues, however he said the agenda of the meeting has not been issued so for.
Meanwhile sources said that the cabinet is expected to order another reshuffle in civil and police administration. Besides the government is likely to take call on appointment of new Chief Secretary of the state, the cabinet is also likely to order reshuffle in civil and police administration.
Meanwhile a BJP minister said that though there are several IAS officers in the race for the post of the Chief Secretary but Principal Secretary Planning Department B R Sharma is a front runner in the race. KNS
