Poonch: A man was critically injured after he was attacked by a leopard in Mendhar area Poonch district on Friday. The man identified as Dilip Singh was attacked by a leopard when he along with his father was busy in his crop fields at Golad village. Though his father managed to escape but Dilip was mauled by the leopard.
He was rushed to hospital in serious condition and is currently being operated upon. People of the area have complained that leopards roaming in the area have terrorized them from over the past few days but wild life department is not taking any action.
