SRINAGAR: IGP Traffic, Kashmir, has instructed the drivers of empty load carriers and oil tankers to take the Mughal road route to decongest Srinagar-Jammu Highway (NH-44) for trucks carrying fruit.
Empty load carriers from Jammu to Srinagar shall also be diverted via Mughal road route from 10th September 2015 onwards.
SSP traffic has been asked to furnish a compliance report and all zonal IGPs have been urged to direct the SHOs, SDPOs, SSPs concerned to provide necessary police assistance to the traffic police for the strict implementation of the traffic plan.
