SRINAGAR: A paramilitary CRPF jawan died and two others, including a civilian were injured in a road mishap at Wasun area of Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Thursday.
Police said a speedy car (Alto- JK01R-5208) hit two CRPF men of 181 bn and a pedestrian at Wasun in Kangan. The CRPF men were standing near one of their vehicles which had suffered some technical snag and their other colleagues were busy fixing it when the incident occurred.
All the injured were shifted to district hospital where CRPF constable Prakash Singh (belt no. CT041709664) of Kathua succumbed to injuries, police said.
He identified the other two injured as ASI of CRPF S Dobey and Mushtaq Munshi (civilian) of Binhama Ganderbal.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard.
