SRINAGAR: The Transport Commissioner (TC), who is also Chairman State Transport Authority Wednesday, issued a notification regarding using of legitimate fare meters in passenger auto rickshaws plying in the State.
According to the notification, it has been observed that some of the passenger auto rickshaws plying in the State are charging exorbitant fare without use of legitimate fare meters certified by the department of Legal Meteorology thereby fleecing the commuters.
