SRINAGAR- The State Government Wednesday accepted the voluntary retirement request of Chief Secretary, Mohammad Iqbal Khanday.
Orders to this effect were issued by the General Administration Department here this evening.
In pursuance of sub-rule(2) of Rule 16 of the all India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Rules, 1958, read with second proviso to this Rule, sanction is hereby accorded to the voluntary retirement of Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Khanday, IAS (JK:1978), Chief Secretary, J&K, from the Indian Administrative Service with effect from 31stAugust, 2015 (afternoon), reads the order.
