SRINAGAR — Team Ahmed Resort on Tuesday announced a 27-member squad for the Khyber Downtown Champions League (KDCL) under the captaincy of Syed Sagar.
A board meeting held on September 1 in Srinagar announced the names of players and management for the mega cricket event.
Following players were shortlisted by the team selection committee to play in the KDCL.
Syed Sagar (Captain), Imtiyaz Bhat, Imran Rashid, Abdul Qayoom, Imtiyaz Dar, Nissar Ahmed, Murtaza Mohammad, Javed Tantray, Owais Showkat, Rafiq Mohammad, Aabid Sheikh, Amir Qayoom, Amir Bashir, Fahad Hassan, Mohammad Umar, Waseem Ahmad, Wasim Raja, Salman Khurshid, Jaleel-U-Rehman, Nazir Hafiz, Muzaffar Raju, Sajad Yousuf, Deepak Manhas, Hussain Dar, Sami, and Reyaz Bhat.
The selection committee also selected members for the management of the team which includes Reyaz Bhat as Owner, Younis Yousuf as Physio, Fayaz Ahmed as Coach and Showkat Ahmed as Mentor.
It is pertinent to mention that the inaugural ceremony of KDCL, which is scheduled to start on September 2, was cancelled yesterday.
