SRINAGAR:In the trial run of Baglihar phase second, ful capacity of 150 MW was generated in its trail run.
The trial run of the state owned largest power project started at 4:21 pm on Tuesday. Full capacity synchronous running of Baglihar phase second is most crucial; the trial run shall last ofr 72 hours, sources said.
The 450-MW Baglihar-I has already changed the profile of the states wholly owned Power Development Corporation is earning around Rs 1000 Crore a year. Addition of another phase to it, with the same capacity, will double the income as the cumulative generation will cross 5000 million units a year.
