SRINAGAR:Twenty two persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley, a police statement said Tuesday evening.
In Kulgam, a Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK03-5667 driven by Manzoor Ahmad Mir resident of Dardkote, Qazigund turned turtle at NHW Nipora near petrol pump Qazigund, resulting in injuries to 16 passengers. All the injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Bandipora, a passenger bus bearing registration number JK01B-4527 and a load carrier bearing registration number JK16-2211 collided near Asham crossing Naninara Sumbal, resulting in injuries to 05 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Sopore, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01Q-8520 skidded of the road at Sangrama on NHW near Fire Station Tarzoo, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Jahangir Ahmad Lone resident of Nowpora Wagoora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
