GANDERBAL: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today organized awareness programme at Dariend in district Ganderbal as part of its state-wide awareness campaign.
Nearly 100 participants including Block Development Officer, Panchayat Inspector, Sarpanchs, JKEDI Ganderbal officials and educated unemployed youth from the block attended the programme under JKEDIs awareness campaign regarding the schemes the institute implements including Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS), Youth Start up Loan Scheme (YSLS) and the term loan scheme under the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NM-DFC).
District Nodal Officer, Ganderbal Imtiyaz Ahad stressed the youth to take entrepreneurship as a career option and discussed in detail about the various potential sectors in the state like Agri-allied sector, horticulture, floriculture, dairy farming, poultry, tourism, food processing manufacturing and services.
