KARGIL: Executive Director and Secretary J&K State Social Welfare Board Aamir Ali inspected various Crèche Centers in Kargil District, sponsored by the State Board and run through an NGO Project Implementation Committee Kargil.
The Crèche Centers were inspected at Gund Mangal Pore, Saliskote, Minji, Baroo, Baroo Tsok and Poyan. During inspection the children presented cultural items.
Aamir Ali, in his capacity as Nodal Officer for Persons with Disabilities also interacted with officers of District Administration including Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Chief Medical Officer and District Social Welfare Officer and reviewed the implementation of the Persons with Disabilities Act and urged them to ensure that all persons with disabilities are issued Disability Certificates so that they can take benefit of the Government schemes.
