5 CDPOs placed under suspension
SRINAGAR: Pending enquiry into the reported irregularities in supply of nutrition and distribution of substandard nutrition items in ICDS projects (Anganwari Centres), the Government has placed under suspension five CDPOs with immediate effect.
The suspended officers include, Bharti Sharma (the then CDPO, Vijaypur), presently attached with the Deputy Director (ICDS) Jammu, Seema Bharti, CDPO, Purmandal, Babu Ram Tandon (the then CDPO Samba), presently posted as District Social Welfare Officer, Kathua, Parvesh Sharma, CDPO, Ghagwal and Mehmooda Akhter, in-charge CDPO, presently attached with the office of State Mission Director, ICDS, J&K Srinagar.
