Tosamaidan: A black bear Tuesday mauled two shepherds at Tosamaidan meadow in central Kashmirs Budgam district, police said.
The injured duo have been identified as Abdul Ahad Chopan, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Lalpora Beerwah and Mohammad Afzal Khan of Yarinar Sugen Khag.
Both were rushed to SKIMS Soura where the condition of Abdul Ahad is stated to be critical.
Witnesses told Greater Kashmir they found the duo lying unconscious in Gatemarg Bahak of Tosamaidan yesterday.
This is the third such incident in the district during last one month.
Earlier, a minor girl from Frestwar and two men from Katchwari Khansahab were also injured in such attacks.
