SRINAGAR: Hundreds of people including Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Mr Abdul Haq and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah today joined the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of Mufti Bashir Ahmad Farooqui, Imam Dargah, Asar-e-Sharief, Hazratbal, who passed away last evening.Pertinently, in recognition of his immense contribution towards matters of Islamic jurisprudence, the State Government had recently nominated Mufti Bashir A Farooqui as Member of the J&K Wakaf Board.
