Srinagar: A 35-year-old man was attacked and injured critically by a wild beast at Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Ali Mohammad Bhat son of Mohammad Ahsan Bhat of Braripora, Handwara was attacked by a black bear in his orchard at Tutigund area.
After hearing hue and cry, some people present nearby rushed to the spot after which animal flee from there and victim was rushed to SDH Handwara where doctors termed him as critical and referred him to SKIMS Soura, they added.
