KABUL: At least 21 people have been killed and 10 injured at a shootout at a wedding party in northern Afghanistan.
According to the Dawn, a gunfight broke out between two groups attending the wedding in Andarab district in Baghlan province, said Jaweed Basharat, the governor of the province.
Most of the people who died were guests at the wedding aged between 14 and 60, said Basharat.
Many provinces including Baghlan in northern Afghanistan are plagued by insurgent attacks since the US-led invasion in 2001.
