Kashmir is like heaven on the living planet, situated between 32.15 degree and 37.05 degree north latitude and 72.35 degree and 83.20 degree east longitude. Total area of the state is 2, 22,236 sq.kms and total population of the state is 1-crore 25 lakh approximately. Economy of the state is mainly dependent on agriculture. Around 70% population gets livelihood via agriculture in Kashmir. Tourism-sector is also a source of livelihood peculiarly in Kashmir region. Kashmir is gifted by the lord not only for Kashmiris but for the whole humankind to enjoy its mesmerizing beauty which is bestowed by the creator to the people of the living planet. The beauty of Kashmir lies in its high altitude glaciers, sky high mountains, deep rivers, cold streams, covered forests, and above all its peace loving people. The Kashmir has numerous things which probably express the beauty of the nature. Around the whole area, the nature added the beauty to its every side, the loyalty of Kashmiri people evince their unparalleled character. The humanity also expresses its unique character, it conveys a sense of harmony, serenity, simplicity and sympathy on its evoke. The mountains express its unique character which holds its breath taking beauty, which evince the beauty of the nature. The diversity of flora and fauna, the unconditional simplicity of its common people, that holds around us the spell bound. The feeling of its admiration and respect forced to love them, and we love them. In a regular manner we try to visit them, we love to survive the beauty of the high sky mountains, we get their unending excitement. We enjoy trekking, paragliding, skiing and white water rafting. Its the Kashmir which express the beauty of the nature via its unique and simple character.
But now the paradise has turned into hell. From Afghan rule Kashmir has been bleeding. Every part is in pain and beneath its earth lie countless bodies of its innocent children. It gives me grief and sadness. We have lost our beloved ones and now I am afraid we may again lose our dearest ones. We are unsafe even in schools, colleges, and universities now. Students who should have been pursuing careers are contemplating picking up gun to avenge the insults and repression.
