BJP, RSS has no existence in Valley: Vakil
Srinagar: Congress party Monday said that BJP is misleading the people by claiming that alone in Kashmir Valley, the party has registered more than three lakh members. Senior Congress leader and former Minister, Abdul Gani Vakil said that BJP has no existence in Kashmir Valley and this party has not got more than five thousand people (mostly minority members) as its members. It took secular Congress party over sixty years to establish its base in Kashmir and how come it is possible for BJP to register three lakh members within a short span of time, Vakil said
He said that for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, BJP and RSS have made their entry into Kashmir and the credit for all this goes to Chief Minster Mufti Muhammad Sayeed. Despite the folly made by PDP, Bhartiya Janata Party did not succeed in registering five thousand members in Kashmir. The membership figures that BJP has presented are bogus and misleading, he said.
