SRINAGAR, JUNE 30: For promotion of cultural heritage in Kashmiri language, the arrangements for conducting of Shami Gazal and Shesh Rang which will be conducted on July 30, 2015 and August 30, 2015 respectively have been finalized in an officers meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Samoon.
The meeting was attended by Secretary JK Cultural Academy, Dr. Abdul Aziz Hajni, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Qazi Sarvar, Joint Director Information Kashmir Mr Shafqat Iqbal, Joint Director Tourism Kashmir, Mr. Tassaduq, President JK Bank, Coordinator Music Club Mr. Wahid Jeelani.
In the meeting, it was stated that these musical concerts would be organized by the Cultural Academy and Kashmir Music Club jointly. While as the J&K Bank would give financial support for conducting of these concerts, Tourism Department will also provide accommodation for conducting of these programmes.
