ANANTNAG: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Aishmuqam Anantnag today celebrated its Annual Day. MLA Pahalgam Mr. Altaf Ahmad Wani was the chief guest on the occasion and District Development Commissioner Anantnag Mr. Bashir Ahmad Khan was also present as guest of honour.
Students, parents, locals and staff members in a good number attended the celebration.
Various cultural programmes including Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi and Rajasthani folk songs were presented on the occasion.
MLA Pahalgam and District Development Commissioner Anantnag facilitated the students for their outstanding performance in different fields.
MLA Pahalgam in his speech urged the students to work hard in all fields of life and not to become bookworms and assured that he will donate a vehicle to Vidyalaya.
