SRINAGAR: In an attempt to spread the message of goodwill in Tral, Army based at Tral under the aegis of Chinar Corps has organised an Educational-cum-Motivational Tour for 19 youths from various schools of Tral area from 20 June to 03 July 2015 under Op Sadhbhavana.
A teacher and a team of Army officials comprising of one Officer, one Junior Commissioned Officer and three Other Rank from Rashtriya Rifles Battalion are accompanying the youths. The tour will be visiting the historical places, industries and educational institutions in the cities of Amritsar, Agra and Ajmer. The aim of this tour is to expose these young minds to the diverse culture and secular nature of the country and provide them with an opportunity to understand that peace and harmony is instrumental in ushering social and economic progress of Kashmir. The tour was flagged off from Bajwani Camp, Tral today by the senior Army officer in the presence of civil dignitaries from Tral. The initiatives taken by the Army for organising the tour for the youths of Tral was appreciated by one and all present during the occasion.
