Kupwara: A shepherd was killed after he slipped in forest area of Machil sector in north Kashmirs Kupwara district on Friday.
A police official said that the shepherd, 43 years old Ghulam Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad of Dudi Machil was grazing cattle in the nearby forest area last evening when he slipped and was hit by stone, resulting in his on the spot death. The body of deceased was handed over to his relative for last rites. (GNS)
