Anantnag:- The officials of municipal committee and ARTO Anantnag on Saturday flattened the tires of hundreds of vehicles that were wrongly parked in this south Kashmir town.
The MCA has decided to clear all kinds of encroachments from the footpaths and roads an official of ARTO said adding we have launched a massive drive against erring drivers.
On the first day we fined some erring drivers and also seized some documents of vehicles and we have already confiscated carts from the market roads and have slapped fine on them.
He further said that our plan is to keep the city free from hurdles like traffic jams and create more walking space for pedestrians and keep city clean and free from wrong parking.
