Srinagar: The state authorities since Thursday have put curbs over the movement of several Huriyat (G) leaders including the Chairman Syed Ali Geelani with the amalgam alleging the government of trying to foil its seminar scheduled to be held on June 14.
The Huriyat (G) spokesman said that curbs have been imposed on Huriyat (G) leadership since Thursday night and so far the restrictions have not been relaxed.
Reports informed that besides Syed Ali Geelani, Mohammad Asharaf Sehrae, Raja Mehraj-ud-din, Ayaz Akbar and several others have been kept under house arrest.
Pertinently, Huriyat (G) was scheduled to hold a seminar on June 14, Sunday titled How to counter RSS Agenda for which it had sought the participation of several Christians, Sikhs and Human rights monitors.
