Beeru: One person was killed and eight others were injured in separate road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.
They said a vehicle hit and critically wounded a pedestrian Mehboob Khan at Khag in district of Budgam.
He was shifted to local hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Five persons were injured when two motorcycles collided at Ompora in Badgam district.
Two of the injured were admitted to local Sub District Hospital while three others were rushed to Bone and Joint hospital here.
In an another incident, a woman pedestrian Shakeela Begum was hit and injured by a vehicle at Kralpora in Kupwara while two person were wounded when vehicles they were driving collided at Stakna in Leh.
Begum was admitted to Bone and Joint hospital while injured in Leh accident were admitted to Sonam Narboo Memorial hopistal.
