Shopian: Government suspended ten doctors who were found absent from duty in the south Kashmir district of Shopian, officials said here today. They said District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian conducted surprise inspection of Sub District Hospital, Zainapora and found ten doctors absent from the duty yesterday. He ordered immediate suspension of all 10 doctors working in the Hospital.
A case for strict disciplinary action against the absentee doctors has been initiated in order to streamline the working of the Health Institutions in the district
