Baramulla, May 15 (KNS): Terming the role of NGOs inevitable in solving the problem of unemployment, District Development Commissioner Baramulla today chaired a meeting of NGOs belonging to the National Skill Development Corporation at Baramulla today. During the meeting a thorough discussion was held over the role and works of the National Skill Development Corporation.
It was given out in the meeting that a mega recruitment drive is going to be organised by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) at Government Degree College (GDC) Boys Baramulla under the scheme UDAAN on May 18 and 19, 2015.
A number of Corporates belonging to different sectors viz., Information technology, Construction, Retail, Sales, Logistics, Networking, Human Resource development and Health Care are going to be part of the recruitment drive.
All Graduates and Post Graduates, Professional Degree Holders and 3 Year Engineering Diplomas holders or students in the final year of graduation are eligible to participate in the Recruitment Drive. The selected candidates will be provided rigorous training for a defined period and program and at end of the training the candidates will be assessed based on their training for a job position.
The District Development Commissioner on this occasion impressed upon the NGOs to put every step in place for the betterment of the society and the reduction in the unemployment ratio in the district.
