SRINAGAR Prominent journalist Imtiyaz Bakshi passed away here this evening. He was 60.
Bakhshi was at his Press Enclave office when he fell unconscious. He was rushed to SKIMS where doctors pronounced him dead.
Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, has expressed grief over the untimely death of Bakshi.
Paying tributes, Mufti Sayeed described Imtiyaz Bakshi as one of the most talented sub-editors who distinguished himself by working on the desk of leading national newspapers, including The Indian Express and Sahara Group.
The Chief Minister expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
