Srinagar: A five- year old boy drowned in a Nallah at Wahipora in south Kashmirs Pulwama district on Wednesday afternoon.
A Police official said that victim identified as class Ist student, Madiha Ashiq, daughter of Aashiq Ahmad Dar of Wahipora drowned in a nearby nallah Wakhran. With the assistance of police and civilians, a search operation has been launched and an hour after the body was retrieved.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended on the hamlet when the body of the class 3rd student reached home.
