Pahalgam: The government Tuesday did not bother to invite MLA Pahalgam Altaf Kaloo to Chief Ministers tour in his home constituency Pahalgam.
Surprisingly, the defeated candidate and PDP leader Rafi Mir was formally invited while the elected representative of the people was allegedly ignored.
Kaloo said that Chief Minister thinks that his defeated candidate is still the representative of the people. On the floor of the House, Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed himself asserted that MLA is an institution and this institution needs to be respected and honoured. Today his words proved hoax as he did not bother to invite the elected representative of the constituency, Kaloo said.
As the Chief Minister has no answer on neglect of development schemes in Pahalgam Assembly constituency, he opted not to invite me instead, said the infuriated NC MLA adding that he raised the issue with the government officials and they all termed it as a big mistake.CNS
