Srinagar: Two teenagers who drowned in Jhelum on Sunday at Old Citys Zaina Kadal have not been traced even as the searches entered third day.
The teenagers – Faizan Malik of Sonwar in Uptown City and Muhammad Haseeb Bhat of Khanyar of downtown slipped into the river at Zaina Kadal in old city when they were trying to retrieve a cricket ball Sunday morning. The duo was playing on the backside of historical Pather Masjid.
A police official said the police and armys Marine Commandos (MARCOS) continued their searches for the drowned bodies but they could not be traced even today.
