Anantnag: The licenses of eight medical shops were suspended here following the surprise inspection of a team of Drug inspectors led by Assistant Drug Controller.
More than 35 drug samples and 72 survey samples were lifted for the purpose of testing to ensure that safe and quality medicine are sold to the general public. An official source told Kashmir Observer that upon this inspection licences of 8 medical shops were suspended for a period of 8 to 10 days for various violations of conditions of license.
The drive, source said, shall continue to make the chemists accountable and serve the interest of the public.
