Srinagar: The Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had an informal interaction with the business community of Kashmir over a lunch on April 26 at Nehru guest House.
The basic motive of the Chief Minister for having this interaction was to seek support to realize his vision for a better Kashmir. The CM said that he has envisaged a vision about Kashmir ever since he joined politics in late Sadiqs time. Therefore he requested the participants to help him to create an atmosphere to fulfill his vision.
Mufti focused on the promotion of tourism in the valley. In this backdrop he told business community that he has already initiated a tourism promotion programme Kashmir calling to bring tourists back to the valley.
The CM said he has plans to create more tourist destinations, to create accommodation for high end tourists, to beautify the city of Srinagar in particular, including the facelifting of Jhelum, Dal and other historical places of importance.
