Srinagar: Parents of the students appearing in the entrance test of AIIMS Friday said the authorities were denying entrance forms to their wards despite last date for the same is April 10.
The parents of the aspirants told KNS that the CET in JK is scheduled for May 30 and 31 whileas the AIIMS has declared that the entrance exams would be held a day after. Now when we have resolved to reach Jammu for appearing in AIIMS exams on the very next day so that our wards could appear in both CET as well as AIIMS entrance test , the consultancy now rejects the application forms without any reason, parents said, while appealing the state authorities to take action into this matter.
When contacted, Education Minister Naeem Akhtar told KNS that he is looking into the matter and has already discussed it with BOPEE so that the clash of the entrance dates could be avoided. He added that he will talk to the AIIMS authorities in order to address the concern raised by the parents in valley.
