Anantnag:- BJP MLC Sofi Mohammad Yousf today visited ziyarat shareef of Ashmuqam and took stock of the arrangements regarding annual festival ‘Zool’ being observed there from Friday.
The people of Ashmuqam and other parts of the area celebrate this festival every year in the memory of Sayed Zainudin Wali (RA).
BJP leader stressed upon the administration to provide uninterrupted power supply, ration, water, and better transport facilities for the devotees.
He called on the incharge employees of PHE, electricity, and R&B departments to work with full dedication and contribute their best during the festival period.
Sofi also offered prayers for the betterment of the weather at the shrine. Later he addressed a party workers convention at Srigufara . He was accompanied by parties in charge for Bijhehara constituency PN Pandita & general secretary for South Kashmir Muzaffar Ahmad Katoo.
