Naeem flags off on wheel luxury travel coach
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir State especially Valley is one of most scenic places of the world which is world over know for its cultural heritage, crafts and hospitality, however, to explore its tourist potential optimally we have to cultivate and construct high end infrastructure.
This was stated by the Minister for Education, Sayeed Naeem Akhtar Andrabi here today while flagging off on wheels luxury travel coaches from Centaur Lake View Hotel promoted by a private tourism player. The Minister for R&B was the chief guest while Minister of Education was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The luxury travel coaches have been designed with a seating capacity ranging from 10-24 persons with comforts and convenience of an aircraft, coupled with high end and sumptuous amenities.
Syed Altaf Bukhari said that tourist industry is the life line and backbone of our economy and its development means overall development of States economy.
The luxury travel coaches are being run by high end transport agency Kahwa Group.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Kahwa Group Skeikh Mushtaq said that the group is trying to play its role for promotion of tourism besides creating employment avenues for unemployed youth of the State. He said investors can invest in high end transport facility for tourists in a big way which would go a long way give boost to tourist industry in the State.
Among others, Director Tourism and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
