SRINAGAR: In accordance with the directions of Executive Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir State Legal Services Authority, Mr. Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, a Core group comprising four Judicial Officers, six Advocates and seven para-legal volunteers was constituted by the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, who is also the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, Mr. Rashid Ali Dar to monitor rehabilitation, relief of flood victims.
The said core group visited the relief and rehabilitation camps established by District Administration.
Among the various established camps, the camp at Marriage Hall Sanat Nagar, Srinagar is functioning in all respect having 11 families lodged there, so far the group monitored the facilities available there and another rehabilitation camps at ERA building Ram Bagh, Srinagar was also visited by the core group where 7 families were camped. Two temporary legal aid clinics are established one at Sanat Ghar, Srinagar and another at ERA complex Ram Bagh, Srinagar for assistance of public at large.
