JAMMU- Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Mr. Abdul Majid Padder informed the House that all the rural areas of Eidgah constituency are being provided piped water supply from Rangil Master Plan System, adding that there is no scarcity of drinking water in these areas.
Replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Mr. Mubarak Gul in Legislative Assembly here today, the Minister said Badiudder village is getting piped water from 1200 mm dia trunk main of Rangil Master Plan tapped at Kokar Bagh Soura. He said, however, there is demand to connect the system with 150 mm dia supply main, feeding Sangam area. He said the department has prepared estimates for an amount of Rs. 11.50 lakh which includes material cost component of Rs. 8 lakh. The work has been tendered and allotment is under process.
