Srinagar: Expressing serious concern over the flood like situation emerging due to incessant rains in Valley, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah Monday stressed upon people to exhibit a spirit of generosity and brotherhood among themselves and should lend helping hand to each other in this time of grief.
In a statement Shah appealed Freedom Party activists and people of flood affected areas to show a sense of unity and brotherhood as they did during last year floods. He also directed the Freedom Party’s local level committees to turn into relief committees. “Apart from freedom struggle we have to fulfill our moral responsibilities to help our affected brethren.
Expressing solidarity with the affected people Shah said, We’ll continue our relief campaign and by the grace of Almighty we’ll do our best to help our brethren in grief and will never let them down in any case.
