Geelani advises Pak not to fight Saudi war

Says, America neither friend of Shias nor Sunnis 

Srinagar: Expressing deep concern and anguish over the deteriorating situation in Iraq, Syria, Libya and now in Yemen Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani Saturday urged Pakistan to stay away from the conflicts as they were ‘unfortunate for the Ummah’.

In a statement he said, “A deep rooted conspiracy of the anti-Islam forces is behind the situation in the Muslim world and all these policies are formulated in Washington DC and Tel Aviv and this sectarian hatred among the Muslims is the part of that international conspiracy.”

Geelani advised the Pakistan government that instead of becoming the part of this ‘unholy war’, it should play a role of a facilitator and an arbitrator in eliminating the differences between the different Muslim countries and also try to convey to Saudi government that this civil war is in no way in the favor of the Muslim Ummah.

Geelani said “If this war is not stopped, it will bring all the Muslim countries under the mercy of America.”

“After the breakdown of the Soviet Union, the American state department selected Islam and the Muslims as their prime target and according to the New World Order theory of this country; they have calculated plan of dividing the Muslim countries into minor and small states. To implement this dangerous plan, a formal process has been started to widen the gap between the different schools of thought of the Ummah and for this purpose the services of some Muslim rulers and Ulema  have been bought who without caring for the collective interest of the Ummah, want to satisfy their personal desires,” the Hurriyat chairman said.

While advising the Muslim rulers to act cautiously, Geelani said, “On the one hand America is helping Iraq government against the ISIS and on the other the same country is providing arms and weapons to the ISIS. This country wants Muslims to use their energy and power against with each other so that he can rule whole of the Muslim world.”

“Yemen is also facing the same situation and the same anti-Islam forces are responsible for this. These forces are working over the project of converting the small and meagre differences between the different sections of the Muslim society into issues and disputes and they are then successfully implementing it. This situation demands an important and vital role of the big Muslim countries like Pakistan, Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia and if they wish, they can easily neutralize the wicked designs of the America and Israel. Otherwise no Muslim country is free from the wicked and cruel shadow of these forces and the counties which are presently getting the praise and help of America will be targeted by the same country,” Geelani said.

“America is neither friend of Shias nor Sunnis. It continues to change its strategic partners and when job gets completed it needs nobody and throws all of them into the dustbin. Saudi Arabia and Iran are very important entities of the Muslim world and presently the America is looking to be friendly with these two countries but he is waiting for a proper time to get on these two nations,” he said.

Geelani said that at the time when attempts were being made to drag the only atomic power of the Muslim world Pakistan into this American war, the political and the military leadership of this country has to be very cautious and extremely vigilant and they have to work for eliminating the differences between the Muslim countries. “It will be the favor of this country to the whole Muslim Ummah (Community) and their role will be written in golden words of the history,” he said.
