Anantnag:- An elderly man died on the spot in a road accident at Bilal colony Mattan here today.
The incident occurred when two persons riding a motorbike hit three passersby, including Abdul Gani Sofi (60), a resident of Nai Basti Anantnag.
While the two passersby were critically injured and were rushed to SKIMS Srinagar Abdul Gani Sofi was pronounced dead on arrival at the District Hospital Anantnag.
His body was handed over to his family. Police has registered a case under FIR, No 18 Under section 279/337/304A RPC .
