Jammu: Minister for Animal Husbandry, Science and Technology, Sajad Gani Lone has said that government is committed to revamp and rejuvenate the overall developmental profile of the State adding that development of hilly and rural areas would also remain the focussed attention of the government.
Interacting with several deputations of valley and Jammu, who called on the Minister to get redressed their problems and developmental needs here in Civil Secretariat today, The Minister said upgradation and improvement of basic amenities in rural areas would receive the keen attention of the government adding that in this regard several innovative initiatives are under way.
Sajad said that government would take necessary measures to promote cattle farming in the State. He said live stock contributes substantially in the development and improving the economy of the State. He said innovative measures would be initiated to bring white revolution in the State.
The Minister said being the public representative my priority would always remain to redress the peoples problems and developmental needs.
