Asks to set up Grievance Redressal Cell by March 1
SRINAGAR: In connection with digitization of cable transmission, monitoring of rates of set top boxes and monthly rents in district Srinagar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, G.M. Dar, convened an officers meeting here today to discuss issues relating to digitization of cable transmission.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Information Press and Public Relations Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Baba besides Cable Operators including representatives of Site Entertainment Network, Nabeera Complex Jehangir Chowk Srinagar, JK Take One channel, Hyepora and Lal Bazar Srinagar, North Star Soura Srinagar, Peace Cable Network Athwajan Srinagar.
It was informed in the meeting that in most of the areas the network has been digitized.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the Cable Operators to set up a Grievance Redressal Cell by or before March 01, 2015 for redressal of grievances of the customers of the district.
